Division 5 hangs in balance

UPDATED 9am: JUST 83 votes separate Greg Barnes and Kerry Short in the race for the Division 5 seat on Bundaberg Regional Council.

With about 73% of the electoral roll counted sitting councillor Greg Barnes has 1933 votes compared to challenger Kerry Short's 1850.

The pair has been separated by only a small number of votes since counting began on Saturday.
