JUST two members of the Cowboys 2015 premiership team will be in Bundaberg after they announced their team for the NRL trial this afternoon.

With most of their stars including Michael Morgan, Matt Scott, and Jason Taumalolo heading to the Nines tournament in Auckland, only Ben Hannant and Scott Bolton have been named for the Cowboys.

Not one member of the Cowboys' starting line-up from last year's Grand Final was named.

It will instead be comprised of junior and fringe players all vying for a place in this year's first grade squad.

In positive news for the region former Bundaberg juniors Kyle Laybutt and Patrick Kaufusi are named and will play in front of their family and friends.

Unfortunately fellow local players Cody Maughan (unavailable) and Coen Hess (Nines) have not been picked.

The full team for the NRL trial is below.

Jahrome Hughes, Linc Port, Mosese Pangai, Shaun Hudon, Jack Creith, Kyle Laybutt, Cooper Bambling, Ben Hannant , Josh Chudleigh, Scott Bolton, Reece Martin, Patrick Mago, Ben Spina, Sam Hoare, Braden Uele, Sheldon Powe-Hobbs, Brandon Smith, Patrick Kaufusi, Ty Carucci.
