Cause of blaze that gutted shed being investigated

POLICE are investigating the cause of a fire that gutted a shed at the old showgrounds site on Saturday afternoon. 

Billowing smoke could be seen from a distance as emergency crews rushed to the scene.

A shed, which was used by the Salvation Army, was completely destroyed. 

It's believed the building contained asbestos. 

Investigations are continuing.
