Big lotto prize offers a $30 million windfall

SOMEONE'S dreams will come true tomorrow when the draw for a $30 million Gold Lotto prize is held.

But before you start mentally spending your windfall have a look at what you could buy with it.

For a start, you still cannot afford the most expensive houses in Australia.

That record seems to be held by a house in Mosman Park, in WA, which went for $57.5 million.

So even if you win all $30 million you're only halfway there.

Second on the list is a house in Point Piper, in NSW that went for $54.5 million.

More realistic would be a $7.3 million house in Red Hill in the ACT.

The good news is you should be able to afford Australia's most expensive car, a Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4.

It's a steal at just over $400,000, and can get from 0-100kmh in just 3.2 seconds.

Ahead of the big draw tomorrow Golden Casket has released statistics on lotto wins during 2014.

In the 12-months, Queensland lotto players scored 112 division one prizes across all lotto products from Golden Casket, equating to more than $297.2 million in division one prize money.
