A MAN was been bitten on the leg by a brown snake on the corner of Targo and Quay St at 2.38pm today.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the 31-year-old victim has been transported to Bundaberg Hospital and is in a stable condition.

A Bundaberg Hospital spokeswoman said the man is in a stable condition and under observation.
